Will this lead to BB gun background checks? Here’s an important question, how do we know it was a BB gun? Was the victim afraid of fighting 2 men? I know I would be if I didn’t have a gun.

Making lemonade turned out to be a dangerous entrepreneurial activity for a Pennsylvania boy.

A 12-year-old boy brandishing a BB gun is accused of sticking up another child’s lemonade stand and making off with $30.

The robbery occurred Monday afternoon in the western Pennsylvania town of Johnstown, local police said.

The 12-year-old approached the stand with what appeared to be a handgun in his pocket and threatened the younger boy, said Johnstown Sgt. Patrick Goggin. The boys “got into a wrestling match over the money box” before the older boy took $30 and ran away, he said.

Three other children — ages 8, 10 and 13 — chased the boy home and helped police track him down. That’s when police determined the boy had a BB gun.

Police aren’t identifying the suspect because he’ll be charged in juvenile court where most cases remain confidential.

I fear for BB gun companies and the regulations they’re going to face in the future, even though to me firing a BB gun is as exciting as having sex with a blow up doll.
