The enemy has a plan against our guns:

The state treasurer’s office is looking to leverage pension fund investments in six companies that manufacture, distribute or sell firearms and ammunition to get them to follow the so-called Sandy Hook Principles. The U.S. Conference of Mayors adopted the guidelines in response to the deadly shooting rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.

The Sandy Hook Principles:

n Support and promote restrictions on firearm and ammunition sales, transfers and possession to keep guns out of the hands of children unless authorized, persons with mental illness or mental health challenges unless authorized, criminals, terrorists and anyone else prohibited from possessing them under federal law.

n Conduct background checks on all gun and ammunition sales or transfers and support the establishment of a federal universal background check system for every such transaction.

n Reevaluate policies regarding the sale, production, design or conversion of military-style assault weapons for civilian use.

n Ensure that all business clients, including gun show operators or gun dealers, conduct background checks for every sale or transfer of guns or ammunition.

n Make a commitment to develop, share and implement technology-enhanced safety measures for guns and ammunition.

n Support and promote the creation of a federal gun trafficking statute to ensure strict punishment for individuals engaging in illegal firearms sales.

n Support and promote sharing of background check and gun sale data for law enforcement purposes.

n Support and promote gun safety education at the point of sale and in the communities in which we conduct business operations.

All of it is BS, and this people should know that gun trafficking is already a federal crime.
