An estimate of 10, 000 Israelis are applying for a gun permit every year but only 20% of the applicants were being granted. Israel is known for gun-related violence and the government is trying to resolve this problem by implementing laws on the usage of the firearms and ammunitions. They believed that cause of deaths, violence, and terrorism will be lessened. However, in this country, licensed individuals can carry their guns in some government offices, institutions, and private premises.

A private license of firearms in Israel is possible by following the set standards, guidelines, and regulations. Permits are given to the resident of the country and must be renewed after three years.

Since most Israelis are facing self-defense and security issues, it made them want to own a firearm and ammunition. Owning a gun in this country is quite controversial due to some issues. If you are living across the West Bank, commonly called the “green line,” the law enforcers will allow you own a gun for self-protection purpose. But, once you move outside the green line, you have to surrender your firearm.

Living in a country in which you need to protect yourself, your family and your loved ones, you have to equip yourself with your favorite gun and seek permit to carry it wherever you go. Of course, the Israel Defense Forces have the right to use and own the most potent firearm.
