Here’s another Judge that hates the Constitution:
SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge on Wednesday allowed Sunnyvale to enforce a voter-approved ban on large-capacity gun magazines, saying it would have little impact on the constitutional right to possess firearms for self-defense. The ruling comes two weeks after another judge rejected gun advocates’ attempt to block a similar law in San Francisco.
Although millions of Americans own guns with magazines carrying more than 10 cartridges, “it is rare that anyone will need to fire more than 10 rounds in self-defense,” U.S. District Judge Ronald Whyte of San Jose said in his ruling denying an injunction against the Sunnyvale ordinance, which is scheduled to take effect Thursday.

Really Judge? What if the criminal is wearing a bulletproof vest? What if you’re attacked by 5, 10, 20 people? Just because something is rare, we don’t ban it. Jews are rare, gays are rare, fans of Scientology are rare, do we ban them? No! Freedom protects both the common and the rare.
What you have done, your “honor” is create a precedent for gun bans. If they can limit our magazines to 10, why not 5? Why not 3? Maybe we’ll end up with single-shot muskets, is that what you want? I don’t.
The ban was part of Measure C, approved by 66 percent of Sunnyvale voters in November
Funny how that is, when the voters vote to ban same-sex marriage or to deny benefits to illegal aliens, the Judges damn the majority, but when it comes to guns? No problemo.
Here’s the thing, the Constitution doesn’t mention marriage or illegal aliens, but they do mention guns.
There are some rights that cannot be regulated by the mob. By the way, Judge, is the magazine-ban apply to the cops and the SWAT team? Because if I can’t be trusted with 11 rounds, neither should they.
