On the website, they argue that “The Pistol Pod provides ease of accessibility from a lying position in bed either on your back or side or stomach. Just lay your arm along the side of the mattress, feel your pistol as it is ergonomically designed to fit the angle of your arm-wrist-hand. Simply slide the gun from the pod for use.”

It’s an interesting product, their challenge is convincing people that their night drawer isn’t good enough. The commercial has a good beginning, with music and visuals reminiscent of a 1980s horror movie, then the girl pulls out her gun and the announcer begins the sale.
