There are few people defending men in this country, so this letter is powerful. Nobody supports domestic violence, what we oppose is false accusations of domestic violence being used to confiscate guns. Let all free men and women keep their guns, that works best.
The Democratic Congress and President Barack Obama just can’t keep their eyes off of Americans’ guns. Though they are allowing an open invasion of the United States at the southern border, something they should be dealing with according to law, they are unconstitutionally focusing on their continuous violation of the Second Amendment. The new gun confiscation bill introduced in the Senate claims to be aimed at removing guns from domestic abusers, but since no authority was given to the federal government to restrict or regulate arms, it is unconstitutional on its face. Given the U.S. Supreme Court in Castle Rock v. Gonzalez ruled that the state owes no duty to protect citizens from each other, the government has no authority involving itself in domestic violence matters or child support enforcement matters.
The new bill, termed the Domestic Violence Gun Homicide Prevention Act of 2014, is cosponsored by U.S. Senators Murphy, Schatz, Gillibrand, Kaine, Levin, Durbin and Warren, all Senate Democrats with a long history of supporting anti-Second Amendment, pro-gun control and pro-gun confiscation measures. The legislation would institute and fund a series of grants, administered by the Director of the Office of Community Policing Services of the Department of Justice. These grants would be distributed to states that have domestic violence gun prohibitions and enforce regulations that include the seizure of firearms in cases of domestic abuse.
What happens when one is falsely accused of domestic violence? According to dozens of empirical studies (www.saveservices.org), over 75 percent of domestic violence allegations are false. They are usually made in the heat of a divorce battle to obtain unfair advantage in the divorce and child custody dispute.
Will the falsely accused have to take their cases to trial and overwhelm the legal system to protect their Second Amendment rights? Does the man get his guns back if falsely accused? Does the false accuser go to jail for false allegations/perjury? Does the false accuser lose custody of her children for making false allegations? I’m sure that these new domestic violence grants will be once again one-sided and discriminatory against males — males who make up 40 percent of domestic violence victims according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Excellent point! Thanks to the FEMI-NAZI movement and assholes like Frank Lautenburg (D), the male accused of domestic violence is always guilty until proven innocent. 75% false accusations is a very realistic number. Low life attorneys were advising psycho bitches to make false accusations long before the Lautenburg Act. Men would just plead ” no contest” to the accusations; and years later, loose their second ammendment rights. Thank God we can finally celebrate Lautenburg’s life now!
Thanks, I’m a big supporter of men’s rights (and individual rights) of course. Women have too much power. Abortion? They don’t need our permission. Child support even when they lied about taking birth control? Mandatory. All my life I’ve tried to treat women like I treat men, but they rarely let you do it. The same creatures that want equal pay for equal work will shout “I need a few strong men to take the conference table downstairs.” Really? We have women in the military, surely the office queens could lift a finger or are they afraid of breaking a nail?
Most men instead say noting, it’s all that chivalry nonsense. “I’m the guy, I’m gonna sacrifice for the lady.” Whatever.
I feel the same as well Mr. Smith. I still open a door and step aside for a friend or stranger of the opposite gender. If I don’t get a “thank you” then I quite loudly say “YOU’RE WELCOME” so all can hear within 50 feet!. Most older ladies aknowledge, the younger ones I target to embarrass in front of God and everybody. There are very few recognized, simple courtesies anymore. It goes hand in hand with what has happened with the dumbing down and evilization of this once civilized nation. It almost makes my wife “panic” when I’m driving and roll my window down to yell at some disturbed, mislead, IDIOT to “Pull Your Damn Pants Up!!!” —– “Concealed Carry”, Wasp & Hornet Spray and Pepper Spray are GOOD things! ;D
