Cop’s Widow Sues Gun Store

It’s hard to feel sympathy for those who blame inanimate objects for human actions:

The lawsuit filed by Lynsay Fox alleges that In Site Firearms and Law Enforcement Supplies knew or should have known that Michael Henry, the man who bought the gun that killed Bradley Fox, was purchasing the gun for someone else and that there was an “unreasonable and foreseeable risk” that the handgun would be used to cause harm.

Really? Did Henry walk into the store and said “Hello dear trader, I’m here to purchase weaponry for my buddy who plans to shoot a cop in the future.” Don’t even get me started on “the gun that killed Bradley.” It should be “the gun USED to kill Bradley.” Freaking reporters!

“I wish the man who murdered my husband never had access to a gun,” she said. “And I wish the gun store against whom I have brought my lawsuit never sold to a straw purchaser the gun used to kill my husband. But that gun store did sell that gun. And that sale led to my husband’s murder.”

Sure lady, and I wish your husband had become an accountant instead of CHOOSING a DANGEROUS profession like POLICE OFFICER.

“If a gun dealer chooses to put profits over people and carelessly supplies dangerous people with guns, they should be held accountable for the consequences,” said Jonathan Lowy, director of the Brady Center’s Legal Action Project.

Liberals will never understand that without profits, there will be no people to employ or to trade with. Frankly, I hope this gun-hating widow loses her lawsuit, and if the gun dealer needs donations to defend himself, I’d be happy to contribute.

In Site Firearms and Law Enforcement Supplies is a fine place, they supply cops, a fact Ms. Victim has chosen to ignore.

Tell me something, Ms. Victim, if your husband was a fisherman and he dies on the job, do you sue the ocean, the storm? If a shark ate him, do you get a shark to sue the shark?  You’re a fool, Lynsay Fox, a fool being used by lawyers looking to make a buck.  People over profits? LOL, lawyers are all about profits, they only sue when they can smell a big fat settlement or a jury verdict in their favor.

I hope the Judge dismisses the suit, and if I were seated in that jury, I’d be the one defending the gun store.
