5 Responses to Carry an Extra Magazine with the Inner Pocket
No. Anyone who has ever replaced a magazine in a pistol while training knows that the photo is complete derpiness. You will die before you get that magazine out, reoriented, pointing the right way, and into your pistol.
Gun fights are unpredictable, maybe you’ll get a chance to hide and reload. Why do you think some people carry a backup gun in their holster? Same rationale.
Of course, I admit being biased towards Sneaky Pete, that’s one of the holsters I own, not the InnerPocket, the regular one. It’s quite comfortable.
Gregory, you miss my point. The mag is upside down. no gun owner would carry a magazine in that orientation. Sneaky Pete must have no experience with firearms or combat or training if they submit this photo as something desirable.
The magazine is probably upside down for the sake of photography. A print ad has 2 seconds to capture your attention, when people see that picture they need to know right away that it’s a magazine. Otherwise it might be hard to tell what it is.
It’s true that Sneaky Pete started as a company that made cellphone holsters, the owner loved guns and wasn’t happy with his gun holsters, so he wondered if there was a way one could carry a gun without the gun touching the skin, and without having to wear a jacket to cover the gun. Thus he invented Sneaky Pete, and later on, the Inner Pocket, which is a brand extension.
Maybe to a gun pro purist these products don’t work, but for other people? I’m sure they do.

Just stop, Sneaky Pete.
