The infamous Marxist mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio hates our NRA and our 2nd Amendment, but when it comes to criminals, that’s a whole other story.
In front of emotional supporters, Mayor de Blasio signed legislation Monday that will prohibit employers from inquiring about a candidate’s criminal record prior to a job offer.
“Today I see hope for people like me,” said Marilyn Scales, 52, of the Bronx, who said she never has had a full-time job because of her record for dealing heroin.
The mayor also signed legislation to step up regulation of the car wash industry. Car washes will have to obtain biannual city licenses as well as a $150,000 bond to cover costs if they are sued for wage theft.
Steve Rotlevi, owner of Zoom Car Spa in Brooklyn and head of Association of Car Washers, said the law was onerous.
“It is putting a gun to small business’ head,” he said. “It is the highest requirement for any city licensed industry.”

He’s also pro-choice, but only if you want to have an abortion or get a taxpayer-funded sex change. If your choice is owning a gun or not hiring a criminal, he doesn’t support you.
By the way, criminals can get jobs without lying about their criminal past. I did a search and this is what I found:

So it’s not that former criminals can’t get jobs, it’s just that many of them don’t want to work. A rehabilitated prisoner might use his time in jail to become a certified personal trainer, I know one on Facebook that became a web marketer, no background checks for that.
But in de Blasio’s world, we the law-abiding are the bad guys, we have to hire criminals and get bi-annual city licenses.
