They’re not apologizing for this cool ad:
But for this one:

Here’s the text of their apology:
Mark Johnson, the chief executive officer of Strategic Armory Corps, LLC, the current owner of ArmaLite stated, “I believe that an advertisement utilizing an altered photograph of a masterpiece such as David is in poor taste. We deeply regret that ArmaLite offended anyone by this media campaign, which we ended upon our acquisition of the Company. We will make every effort to be sure that any remnants from the campaign are removed from the public”.
Are you kidding me? Does Burger King apologize to PETA for selling meat? Does GLAAD apologize to Phil Robertson for organizing a boycott against him? No! You stand by your brand! You don’t apologize to the people that don’t buy your product!
Jesus Christ, Mark Johnson, where are your balls?
That weapon IS a piece of art. Art isn’t just some Picasso sitting on a wall, doing nothing. Guns are pieces of art, some more than others. The AR is both pretty and useful, it’s a superior form of art, the difference between a beautiful chair that is comfortable and one that is pretty but nobody sits on it.
Yet who needs the gun haters when we have a-holes like Mark Johnson doing their work for them? Seriously dude, are you Bloomberg’s bitch now? Wake up you schmuck! WE ARE YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE! You’ll get far more money from us than you’ll get from some government contract.
When Smith & Wesson betrayed us with the Clinton smart gun, we boycotted the bastards until the Brits sold the business.
We can do the same to you. Frankly, I would rather buy an AK-47, if an “American” company betrays the 2nd Amendment, then I’ll give my money to the Russians. At least they aren’t hypocrites about the products they sell.
