Worst Way to Unload a Gun

This guy is either lying or a real idiot:

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (AP) — Police in Pennsylvania say a man accused of shooting a bullet through a neighbor’s window told a judge he fired the gun because it was the only way he knew how to unload it.

Middletown Detective Patrick Nicastro tells the Bucks County Courier Times that 31-year-old George Byrd IV of Penndel at first denied being behind the shooting but then acknowledged during his arraignment that he fired the weapon to clear the chamber because he was unfamiliar with guns.

Authorities say Byrd fired the gun early Friday afternoon in the suburban Philadelphia community. No one was injured.

Byrd is being held in the Bucks County jail on $20,000 bond. No attorney is listed on court papers.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 8.

Really? I’m unfamiliar with the internal combustion engine, which is why I take my car to a mechanic.

I think what really happened is he doesn’t like his neighbor, and thought he could fire a few shots and get away with it.  The  Courrier Times wrote he “is facing charges including persons not to possess firearms and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.”

I guess this is how felons deal with their neighbors. Hey felons, next time just fire your weapon at a body of water, or the ground, or take it to a gun dealer and ask him to unload it.

  1. I’ll be the first to say that I’m not a great chef, but my neighbors will also agree. Due to my inexperience, their front door has seven cooking knives lodged into it. I’m just so fortunate that they they are so understanding of my learning curve. I’m sure I’ll get it one day…
