I carry concealed because of stupid people that get freaked out over guns:
Two years ago, Kevin Hall retrieved his mail with a handgun strapped to his hip and had begun walking back to his residence when a police officer unlawfully detained and searched him. Hall filed a complaint, then a lawsuit. Now, he’s emerged victorious.

The settlement was only $5,000, but that’s not what matters, what matters is that property rights won. Even if Oregon is not an open carry State, you should be able to carry a gun however you want in your own property.
