“The Purge” Anti-Gun? I don’t think so.

I just saw The Purge, wow, what a great movie. I don’t know why some of my friends on the right are calling it anti-gun/anti-NRA.

If anything, I learned from the movie the following.

1. No Home Security System is 100% Safe. You can have steel covering windows, cameras, but guess what? A truck and a few chains can pull it away.

2. Axes and Knives Aren’t as Good as Guns. Everyone who didn’t have a gun ends up dying, some of the bad guys with guns died as well, but most of the good guys prevail.

3. Even if the Director is an Anti-Gun Nut, the Lesson is Pro-Gun. The good family doesn’t win because they’re a bunch of pacifists pussies that prefer begging over fighting, they win because they have guns. If anything, I hope this movie increases gun sales.

4. Can we please stop complaining about ultra-violent movies? Folks, the symbol of this country is the American Eagle, one of the most violent birds in the world. Why did America pick the Eagle and not a Dove? Because doves don’t win wars. The audience I was with where cheering, we cheered when the bad guys get killed, we applauded every violent scene, just like violent movies purge all the negativity every man carries, guns purge dangerous criminals as well.
