The Purge Anarchy fails as Anti-Gun Propaganda.

SPOILER ALERT, if you haven’t seen The Purge, don’t read this.

Is it just me or have anti-gun filmmakers forgotten how to make anti-gun movies? Because after seeing The Purse this is what I learned.

1. The good guys and the bad guys have guns. They also have machetes and knives.

2. The anti-rich revolutionary, Carmelo, who complains that we “worship at the altar of Smith and Wesson” and that “profit making is not the essence of democracy” had no trouble shooting a bunch of rich people that were buying poor people to hunt them down. Some of the poor had no trouble selling each other to the rich, or in the case of an old black man with a terminal illness, selling himself for $100,000 to help his family.

3. The government wants more people to Purge, which is why there are military-style guerrillas breaking into people’s homes and killing some while enslaving others for future termination. Isn’t this why we have the 2nd Amendment in the first place? To defend ourselves from a government gone wild.

4. If you have a gun during The Purge, don’t leave it in your kitchen table while your sexually-frustrated neighbor decides to take advantage of the situation; and if you have a shotgun, don’t announce your presence while people are trying to break down your door.

5. The most anti-gun scene features a sister shooting another sister since it’s legal for 12-hours and she has a score to settle. However, this could have happened without The Purge. But let’s face it, telling people that crime is legal might encourage them to commit crime. It’s the same reason cops and Judges are better off putting criminals in jail than letting them get away with it, as they often do.

6. Just because the government tells people that bombs and grenades and certain classes of firearms are not allowed, doesn’t mean they won’t get used. Thank you, The Purge, for proving that criminals don’t obey laws.

7. As soon as the 7AM alarm sounds, people stop shooting each other because crime is no longer legal.

8. This is a society full of weapons, including fully-automatic beauties I can only dream off, yet they have low unemployment and low crime the rest of the year? Wow! That kinda goes against everything the Brady’s and Bloombergs are always telling us.

In conclusion, The Purge is an entertaining film but in reality we don’t need a national crime-is-legal holiday, because every day law-abiding gun owners are purging home invaders, purging rapists, purging murders, and taking care of business. And they’re not wearing any masks or driving around in a semi with a huge machine gun.

During the credits, the movie juxtaposes pictures of children shooting guns with their parents and crimes. Even their U.S. Seal is pretty awesome, I would wear it as a t-shirt, wouldn’t you?

So thank you, James DeMonaco, I had a bloody good time.

By the way, there’s far more propaganda in the New Founders America website. Check out their views on immigration and other issues:

Immigration

We understand that falling fertility rates and increased purging have reduced America’s population in recent years. An open border policy is an essential measure to keep America’s population robust.

PurgeCare

We will continue to provide universal healthcare to all contributing Americans, excluding Purge victims who are disqualified from receiving state care as established in the Purge Injury and Disability Act of 2020 (PIDA).

Civil Rights

The New Founding Fathers of America have a longstanding history of supporting equality opportunity for all Americans.

From the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to the Contributing Citizens Provision of 2019, we continue to defend the human rights of all contributing citizens of America, without discrimination based on race, sex, ethnic and gender identity, or religion.

Personal Security

America is only as strong as our weakest individual.

We continue to defend the individual’s rights to personal security, including the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms set forth by our original founders and the 28th Amendment right to purge.

Weird, isn’t it? The NFA supports the 2nd Amendment yet also supports universal healthcare and open borders? If they wanted to ridicule the Tea Party, why not study them?

Oh well, Stay Safe folks, stay armed.
