It took me a long time to stop supporting the war on drugs, and while gun ownership to me is far more important than protecting the rights of potheads, I have come to realize that both gun control and the war on drugs are evil things.
Both undermine individual freedoms.
Both reward criminals that break the law by making otherwise legal products expensive.
Both are based on a false sense of security.
Crack dealers don’t kill each other because they want to, they do it because you can’t call 9/11 when a Crip steals your supply.
Criminals benefit from gun control because it raises the price of guns so they make more money, and it keeps law-abiding people unarmed so the criminals has an easier time doing his job.
