Liberals are having a heart attack.

“In a Monday court filing, the National Rifle Association asked the U.S. Supreme Court to strike down a 1968 law that prevents licensed gun dealers from selling handguns to people between the ages of 18 and 21.

The NRA, along with two nineteen-year-olds, aims to overturn the federal law that restricts the sale of handguns and ammo to anyone under 21 years of age. While individuals between the ages of 18 and 21 cannot obtain a handgun from a licensed dealer per the law, they can still obtain a gun through other channels. The law also does not prevent individuals between 18 and 21 from obtaining shotguns and rifles.”

Liberals will claim that 18, 19, and 20-year-olds are not responsible enough to own guns.  Really? You can join the military at 17 with parental permission. You can vote at 18. If you can’t be trusted with a gun, why trust you with a vote? Voting can be deadly, vote for the wrong guy and he might draft you into war or send you to an internment camp. Vote for the wrong guy and maybe your business will be destroyed, your fortune lost, and perhaps you’ll end up dead.

At 18 you can enter contracts (younger than that if you’ve been emancipated), get married, buy porn, donate sperm, etc, etc, etc.

Liberals trust underage women with abortion. If you’re a 13-year-old girl, they’ll defend your right to have an abortion without even telling your parents.

Liberals trust underage kids with graphic presentations about sex in the name of sex education, and they fight against making the parents grant consent.

Yet the same liberals that are always talking about how much they love the youth, Obama even had a Youth Ball when he got elected, would deprive a man of his right to keep and bear arms just because of statistics.

Well, we are not a nation of statistics, we are a nation of INDIVIDUALS. We are not judged for what others do, but for what we do. That is the standard of the founding fathers, that’s why the Bill of Rights are about what the government can’t do to you.

It’s time to treat adults like adults, I don’t even like the patronizing term of “young adult”. As for the drinking age being 21, that is wrong to. The founding fathers didn’t write “your right to keep and drink beer shall not be infringed” because they didn’t envision prohibition and all the other progressive nonsense that came later. And yes, prohibition was the result of a coalition between progressive and religious, I love my Christian friends, but there are times we have been wrong.

A lot of liberals think “bringing America back” means bringing back slavery and making sodomy illegal once more. Folks, I don’t know anyone that would want that, except maybe for the Westboro Baptist people.

The truth is, we just want our Constitution honored, our individual rights defended, our federalism restored, and the government out of our way.

In the end, a criminal will always get his tool, but an law-abiding 18-year-old shouldn’t die because he couldn’t buy a handgun legally. Hopefully, the Supreme Court will see it our way.

Gun Banners Ask NRA to Kick Off Nugent.

So The Coalition to Protect Criminals from Armed Gun Owners (aka The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV)), is asking the NRA to fire Ted Nugent because of a few quotes they perceive as racist.

Really? This is like the KKK asking blacks to get rid of their guns.

“The NRA likes to bill itself as the ‘oldest civil rights organization in the United States,’” they explained in a petition published Wednesday. “If they want to wear that mantle it’s time for them to walk the walk and end their relationship with Ted Nugent. CSGV Communications Director Ladd Everitt said the petition had over 1,600 signatures as of Thursday morning.”

Wow! 1,600 signatures? I mean, the NRA has 5 million members and there are 100 million gun owners, but 1,600 signatures? OMG! We better fire Nugent ASAP. :)

Here’s a Nugent quote that got the Coalition for the Safety of Criminals upset.

“The blacks have bought into this lie that somehow they’re oppressed when the president is black, the attorney general is black, governors are black, senators are black, congressmen are black, mayors are black, Oprah Winfrey, the richest people in the world are black,” he insisted. “It is a dirty lie.”

Wow! This is so racist, come on, Ted, you can’t tell black people the truth. Lie to them, tell them they will never succeed. :)

Here’s another “racist” quote.

“I would like to reach out to black America and tell them to absolutely reject the lie of Al ‘Not So’ Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson, and the Black Panthers and Eric Holder and Barack Obama,” he told Jones. “They are enslaving you and the real shackles on black America, 100 percent of the time come from black America.”

Let’s compare those “racist” quotes with some actual racist quotes from Democrats and liberals.

I think Ted Nugent will be just fine.  And you know something? Even if Ted Nugent didn’t like you as a person, he’s still gonna fight for your right to keep and bear arms, and so will I.

Can you say the same about liberals? You surely can’t, liberals only fight for the people they like, and they usually end up doing more harm than good.

NAGR Outspends NRA by $3 million (Apr-June)

Maybe you haven’t heard of the National Association for Gun Rights, maybe you have,but they have  “spent more than $3 million from April through June to advocate against dozens of firearm-related bills and amendments. That’s nearly four times the second-quarter lobbying expenditures of the better-known National Rifle Association, which itself spent a near-record $840,000 during the year’s second quarter.”

As for our enemies, they’re falling far behind: “Mayors Against Illegal Guns Action Fund, led by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Boston Mayor Tom Menino. The group spent $580,000 on lobbying last quarter — easily twice what it’s spent compared to any other quarter.”

Save your money, Bloomberg and Menino, the American people are with us, they’re not with you. Between the NRA and NAGR, we’re going to remind the MAJORITY of congress which side their toast is buttered.

Put a crucifix in a jar of urine? Liberals don’t care. Paint a Virgin Mary with elephant dung? Liberals don’t mind. But create a target that bleeds? Oh, we can’t have none of that.

I like Davis explanation: “You could see whatever you want to see, and if you put the guy next to a picture of Bloomberg, he looks like Bloomberg. Put a picture of Rick Perry beside him, who’s clearly not an anti-gun lobbyist, it’s going to look like Rick Perry. You put it next to Reagan, it’s going to look like Reagan,” Davis said. “You put it next to any white male that’s going to wear a suit and have the combover haircut it’s going to look like all of them, you know? It’s clearly not intend to reflect any person, the same as every other zombie that we do. They’re not actual people.”

See? It’s an eye of the beholder thing, like The History Channel being accused to use an actor that looks like Obama to play the role of Satan on The Bible.
