Panera bans guns! Oh wait, not exactly:
MILWAUKEE-Despite Wisconsin law allowing for concealed carry permits for handguns, Panera Breads is asking customers at all of its locations, including Wisconsin, to not bring in guns to its cafes.
The company in announcing the policy said it wanted its unarmed patrons to feel comfortable.
The one exception to carrying would be for a law enforcement.
A gun safety group called “Moms Demand Action” confirms it worked with Panera to come up with the policy.
Panera CEO Ron Shaich said the company recognizes everyone’s rights.
“But we also recognize that we are building communities in our cafes and are where people come to catch a breath.”
Panera says it will follow state and local laws and won’t require employees to enforce the policy or post no gun signs.

I didn’t know unarmed wusses had rights. What rights would those be? The right to be scared of other people’s rights? The right to force everyone to be equally defenseless? Yes, people come to catch their breath and pay restaurant prices for high-calorie junk food in a nice setting.
At Target they also have a pseudo-gun ban which has resulted in real crimes.

By the way, why is Panera making an exception for law-enforcement? See? These liberals have no consistency whatsoever,If they had any integrity, they would also banned armed cops. Not that it matters, armed cops prefer Dunkin’ Donuts, one of the safest places on earth, by the way.
