Some lib on FB wrote: “Stop quoting ideals from hundreds of years ago and propose changes we can use to make things better today.”

My reply:
These ideals have stood the test of time. What are you? Some progressive always seeking something new? Free Speech protects you whether it’s on paper, radio, TV or Internet. The Second Amendment applies the same whether it’s a muzzle loader or an AR-15.

While I don’t worship the founding fathers or anyone for that matter, some principles deserve to be kept alive.

Arms in the hands of private individuals protect freedom. To be disarmed is to be hated, to be unarmed by choice is to be self-destructive, self-hating, and at the mercy of an oppressor.
