Machiavelli on Gun Rights.

While I’m a bigger fan of Ayn Rand than Machiavelli, he’s absolutely right: Rulers that disarm their subjects fear them. There’s a reason gun banners wrote a guide that advices them to use emotion instead of logic to sell their argument, gun control isn’t based on reason, gun control is based on irrational fears. This is why support for gun control goes up the day of a gun massacre but goes down a few days later. This is why the gun banners have to lie and claim they support the Second Amendment when they have never held such support.

  1. Greetings! I’ve been reading your web site for some time now
and finally got the courage to go ahead and give
you a shout out from Dallas Texas! Just wanted to mention keep up the fantastic
    work!

    • Cynthia, it’s so lovely to hear from you. Comments are rare on this blog, is it because I don’t have the DISQUS platform? I don’t know. But I do appreciate your feedback, and by the way, I used to live in Dallas, Texas. In Cedars Springs, right at the border of the ghetto. Those were interesting times, I remember a homeless man that used to dive in our apartment building’s dumpster, we had a gate, but he used to jump the fence.

Either way, I loved Dallas, celebrated our 1-day of winters, loved the fall, and bought my first GPS for $1,250 (2003). Texas is truly awesome, I can understand why Texans have their pride, why it’s rare for them to leave Texas.

P.S. A 100-degree day in Dallas is cooler than a 80-degree day in Florida. I can handle heat, but not humidity.
