Junk BB Gun Lawsuit Against Kessler.

 

It’s been a bad year for chief Kessler.

POTTSVILLE (AP) — A Pennsylvania police chief who made headlines with profane Internet tirades faces a lawsuit alleging his son shot a girl with a BB gun.

Gilberton chief Mark Kessler and his son are being sued in Schuylkill (SKOO’-kul) County Court, according to the Pottsville Republican-Herald (http://bit.ly/17AFGGE).

The lawsuit filed Monday by Jennifer Warnstorff alleges her daughter’s leg is scarred from the shooting. It seeks unspecified damages.

Warnstorff alleges Kessler’s son negligently fired the gun at the Frackville Recreation Complex last March. The Associated Press is not naming the son because his age is unclear.

The lawsuit alleges Kessler encouraged the reckless use of firearms.

Kessler was recently suspended after posting videos in which he fired automatic weapons and railed against liberals. He did not immediately return a call for comment Saturday.

Really? When I was a 12, another boy pissed me off. I hit him in the face, he lost a tooth. No lawsuit.

At 11 the child of my psychologist who was my classmate, also pissed me off, hit him in the stomach, he puked. No lawsuit, but I did get a lecture from my shrink.

Don’t take me wrong, I’m not saying it’s OK to shoot people with a BB gun, but lawsuits over this? What happened to lectures and apologies?

Here’s an idea, have the girl shoot the guy who shot her with a BB gun. See? That wasn’t so hard.
