U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee could have fought against gun control or for the Second Amendment, but like a good Democrat, he wants you to keep your guns locked so you can’t use them.
“Gun locks, which will be available on first-come, first-serve basis, are designed to prevent unauthorized access to a firearm. Safety brochures regarding responsible gun ownership will also be provided at the event.
The event is being held in partnership with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Michigan State Police and the city of Flint.
“I’m pleased to partner with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as city officials to provide gun locks at no cost to Flint residents,” Kildee said in a written statement. “Gun locking devices help to promote public safety and secure firearms from unauthorized use. I encourage all local residents to stop by the free event, pick up a gun lock and learn about responsible gun ownership practices.”

So if you live in the area, do come “from 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Michigan State Police Post in Flint, 4495 Corunna Road,” and sell it on eBay or take it to a pawn shop.
Let’s show these people that their efforts against the Second Amendment are futile. Maybe someday they will realize that they’re only wasting their time and money.
