Conspiracy Theory about Newton creates Controversy for Ready

The problem with conspiracy theories is they can’t be proven, thus those seeking political office should avoid them:

PUEBLO, Colo. –

The GOP candidate for Pueblo County Commissioner is taking lots of heat for incendiary comments made in a debate when asked by his opponent about his views on the Sandy Hook shootings.

Ready re-posted a Facebook comment from a supporter to his own page alleging the killings of 20 children and six adults in the Newtown, CT elementary school were perpetrated by the federal government to advance a stricter gun control policy throughout the nation.

“What is wrong with questioning something?,” Ready said. “Not saying it didn’t happen, but let’s find out all the facts about it. I don’t want it to happen again.”

Incumbent commissioner Sal Pace was stunned by his opponent’s words.

“I was completely shocked by those comments,” Pace said. I think they’re reprehensible. When I asked him the question, I fully anticipated him to take back his comments on Facebook but instead he double downed and tried to explain them even more.”

In a statement to KRDO NewsChannel 13, Becky Mizel, the chair of the Pueblo County Republican Party said:

“Every individual candidate is responsible for their own comments and for the way they explain their own positions on matters of public policy. I have every confidence that Tom can speak for himself and set the record straight regarding what he believes.”

Just like we don’t like it when they call George W. Bush a war criminal and say the Iraq war was about oil, we should also hold ourselves to a higher standard.

We don’t need to speculate about anything, there are plenty of documented examples of anti-Second Amendment behavior by Obama and his Democrats.

I encourage Ready to do some research, Democrats are still going to say nasty things about you, but at least you’ll be attacking them with the facts.

  1. There are far too many questions still to be answered about Sandy Hook – and many things contradicted or outright concealed by officials (records sealed for 100 years!). I don’t believe the official story.

Remember the supposed father of one of the victims, laughing and joking around before asking “are we on air?”, after which he seemed to take several moments to get-into-character. What about the houses around the area of the Lanza home having their mortgages paid off at the same time? I saw helicopter footage of white suited forensics people remove the Saiga shotgun from the trunk, yet the other day I viewed photos (from the official report) of a shotgun shell on the ground by the school front door and the bookcase by the window -where Lanza is said to have entered- has visible shotgun blast damage (small holes from shot pellets and a larger chip missing which is consistent with damage from a wad cup). First reports from officers on the scene said there was a shotgun and handguns beside Lanza’s corpse… which by the way, was shot in the back of the head from an angle that’s practically impossible to do yourself and get his hair caught around the front sight (official report).

I don’t see how, at the scene of an emergency that just happened 1-2 hours ago, there would be rows of porta-potties and a large electronic sign saying “EVERYONE MUST CHECK IN”. Those kind of things (porta-potties) have to be rented in advance of events.

The school said they had a new CCTV security system, yet we are told there was not one camera in the whole school that was working.

I’m sorry for people that are offended by my reasonable questions, but I don’t believe everything I see on TV.

    • Your questions are reasonable, I’m just saying that without hearings, without a truth committee, without investigations by the authorities, they’re just allegations and you end up sounding like a 911 Truther.

Besides, Connecticut already had tough gun control laws, so why didn’t they try an operation like that in Tennessee or Alabama or some other pro-gun State? Shootings in anti-gun areas are counterproductive, they only show that gun control doesn’t work.

The porta-potties thing you mention is interesting. What was the point of that? Did they know cops would be surrounding the area for hours and they needed a place to go #2 and #1?

Worst of all, they ended up getting rid of that school and building a new one. They love waste.
