Canadian Soldier Arrested for Arms Dealing

“Only the police and the military should be trusted with weapons,” they like to tell us. This story proves them wrong:

A CFB Borden soldier who was arrested for allegedly selling weapons over the Internet was in court on Friday for a brief appearance.

Pte. David Theriault, 36, an air force technician, sat in the prisoner’s box in handcuffs with a French interpreter at his side while his case was adjourned by his lawyer.

“I am a little concerned,” Justice Michelle Fuerst said. “There have been several adjournments already.”

Theriault is charged with 32 weapons offenses, including exporting firearm components, possession of firearms, trafficking in firearms, devices and ammunition. He also faces 44 charges in the United States, including importing machine-guns and smuggling.

The guy was a regular Lord of War with a ring that reached 5 continents, selling suppressors, selling devices that turn semis into fully-automatics, selling ammo, etc.

If the State can’t control the people under their command, why would they think they can control us?
