LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man who undergoes dialysis treatments three times a week was placed on five years’ probation Friday for illegal gun possession.
Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas could have imposed a four-year prison term on David E. Adams, 48, of Whitney Avenue, who pleaded guilty in April to a reduced charge of attempted third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Police raided his home May 15, 2013, and found the loaded .22-caliber handgun, assorted prescription pills and $1,356 in cash, which Adams agreed to forfeit Friday.

Bloomberg and Cuomo must be so proud right now. I guess the State decided that dialysis is expensive and didn’t want to pay for it. Oh well, I’m sure he won’t be caught with another illegal gun, right?
