Creative Arms has a creative name for a gun company, but this ad is hardly creative. I don’t blame them for buying 1/3 of a page, not everyone can afford a full page ad, and I will credit them for showing the glory of the rifle, but making me turn my head to read the copy? That I can’t forgive. You can also do a better headline than: “What Is It?”
Next time, try something simpler like this:
Cheesy? Sure, but who can stop looking at that cute gun over a rock?
