DESCRIPTION: Identify and approach customers bringing firearms into the retail store by providing superior customer service. Check in and safely handle all firearms that pass through the front end. Safely clear any firearm of ammunition. Ensure each firearm is trigger locked. Affix the ECI (Empty Chamber Indicator) allowing all employees and customers a visual that indicates the firearm has been properly inspected. Arrange for an outfitter to escort the customer into the store. Must not leave post unless approved Certified Firearms Inspector is present to fill post. Other duties assigned by management.
