4 Pro-Gun Bills introduced in Colorado

Bloomberg must be fuming, assuming he knows:

Senate Bill 90, introduced by state Senator Randy Baumgardner (R-8), would eliminate the requirement for step-relatives to submit to a background check during the legal transfer of a firearm.

Senate Bill 94, introduced by state Senator George Rivera (R-3), would repeal the egregious and rights-infringing bill passed last year by anti-gun Democrats in Denver that criminalizes the private sale or transfer of a firearm.

Last week saw the introduction of House Bill 14-1063, sponsored by state Representative Justin Everett (R-22). HB 1063 would expand “Castle Doctrine” to allow the use of deadly force for self-defense in an individual’s place of business.

Also introduced last week was Senate Bill 14-038, sponsored by state Senator Scott Renfroe (R-13). SB 38 would prevent the Governor from suspending the distribution of firearms during a declared state of emergency.

After last year’s session — considered to be the most historic assault on your individual liberties in state history — true defenders of freedom are stepping up in an effort to repeal the draconian legislation heaped upon you and advance the rights of shooters and sportsmen in Colorado.
