Weisser Thinks MAIG & MDA will become stronger than ‘gun lobby’

FO62C9A03FC3

Should the NRA be afraid of 130,000 Whinny Mothers? Not so fast.

Mike Weisser is a double-agent and a deadbeat who owes money to AmmoLand, he makes a living selling and training people how to use guns while demonizing them in his own blog and at The Huffington Post. Why has his Lifetime NRA membership not been revoked is beyond me, perhaps my brothers in arms like taking the money from the anti-gunners? Who knows?

Mike not so Weisser writes this:

The NRA better watch out.  There’s a new gun in town and it’s called, well, actually it doesn’t have a name but it’s a combination of two gun control groups – Mayors Against Illegal Guns and Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense which, according to their merger announcement, will “soon be stronger than any gun lobby.””

The Moms claim they have more than 130,000 members and Bloomberg has enrolled more than 1,000 mayors in his club.  But who knows what those numbers really mean?  Moms also has 130,000 Likes on its Facebook page and when I went to their website it appeared that if I sent them an email with my name and address, that this made me a member.

Does Weisser realizes that anyone can buy Likes?  At like4like.org you can even get Likes without breaking the laws of Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Other companies will sell you 250 Likes for $27. It’s not an SEO practice I recommend, I believe traffic should grow organically and not be the result of cheap trickery. Besides, why buy fake followers? That’s a good question to ask the State Department which spent $630,000 on Likes.

Weisser doesn’t need to tell the NRA to watch out, the NRA is always watching out, we have millions of committed members and we take every threat seriously. But let’s get real, the NRA has 4 million members (or 3.5 according to Weisser), we have membership fees which means our members are actually willing to part with their money unlike those cheap moms who can spend $90 to color their hair blue but can’t part with $25 to join an organization. Yet even when MDA sells their wares for nothing, hardly anyone is buying. 130,000 people is 3.25% of the NRA membership.

A bunch of whinny mothers are no match against millions of us, sure, they may get the kind of free press the NRA can only dream of, but at the end of the day, battles are not won with the media, they’re won with e-mails, letters, phone calls, and good ol’ fashioned lobbying.  One Wayne LaPierre visiting politicians is worth all those mothers. 4 million NRA members plus the membership of GOA plus SAF plus NAFGR (National Association for Gun Rights) is worth 100 million gun owners, and if 50 million gun owners were to join the NRA, we would be unbeatable.

Interview with Boycott Toby Keith Facebook Page.

Header at https://www.facebook.com/BoycottTobyKeith

The lamestream media won’t pay attention until the FB page has 200k fans, but I think this is a page worth covering, I think their missions is noble and just. Come on gun owners, if Toby Keith bans guns, he’s banning you.

1. Why did you started the Boycott Toby Keith page?

There was quite an uproar over the restaurant’s anti-gun policy and I recognized an opportunity for consumers to be given a better platform for being heard.

2. Were you a fan of Toby Keith in the past?

I’ve never been a fan of Toby’s music. I am appreciative of his past support for our troops, however, Toby has also claimed to be a Democrat and is known to be an ardent supporter of the Obama administration. His support of the most anti-second-amendment presidency we’ve ever seen would prevent me from being a fan.

3. What do you tell critics who think you don’t need a gun when dining out?

I would suggest that those views are held by people who are choosing to be ignorant of reality. Restaurants and bars are prime targets for armed robberies due to the amount of cash they tend to keep on hand. Spree shooters have often chosen dining establishments in the past too. I would point them to the congressional testimony of Dr. Susan Gratia-Hupp, who lost both of her parents when a spree shooter shot 50 people and killed 23 at the Luby’s restaurant in Killeen, Texas. Dr. Hupp had left her handgun in the car thanks to new state policies that prevented her from bringing it into the restaurant.

Philippines Muzzles Security Guards’ Guns.

You’re a Security Guard in the Philippines, maybe you’re a cop, you have a license to carry a gun, yet they still treat you like you’re a freaking child.

Manila, Philippines – It is the turn of security guards to muzzle their guns for the New Year.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) ordered all the owners of the security agencies across the country yesterday to tape the barrels of their service firearms as another pro-active measure against indiscriminate firing during the New Year revelry.

“This is in line with our program to prevent the occurrence of illegal discharge of firearms by irresponsible gun owners,” said Chief Superintendent Reuben Thedore Sindac, chief police information officer.

Really? I’m surprised you’re not asking them to deposit their guns at the armory.

The objective is simple, according to Sindac. “That is to deny all the more than 500,000 security guards to use the guns issued to them, lessening the probability of indiscriminate firing cases.”

Sindac said the PNP has been doing its part in taping the barrels of the guns of some 150,000 cops while their counterparts in the military have also a strict guidance to its 130,000 personnel.

….

“There were cases of security guards who were involved in indiscriminate firing, this is what we want to prevent through this directive,” Rentoy said.

Yeah, and there are cases of men who rape women, that doesn’t mean we force all men to wear chastity belts.

Based on his directive, Rentoy said the muzzling of all firearms issued to security guards must be done on December 30, or a day before the start of the New Year revelry.

He said he will leave to the security managers on how they would implement the directive but he said the main focus of the police is on the compliance.

“The removal of sealing shall be done on the 2nd day of January 2014,” said Rentoy. (Aaron B. Recuenco)

Well Criminals, now you know which days are good for business.

AmmoLand labelled “GunBully” #5

http://www.davegranlund.com/cartoons/wp-content/uploads/color-cyber-bullies-web.jpg

Gun haters have all kinds of names for us, the latest is “GunBully.” Now I faced real bullies growing up, the kind that would beat the crap out of you for no reason than happy sadism, yet apparently if you stand up for the truth and tell it like it is, you’re a bully.

The AmmoLand Shooting Sports Newswire’s twiter account @ammoland has made the list of so called “#GunBullies”.

That is an anti-freedom hater’s Twitter hash tag speech for individuals or organizations that are not afraid to spread positive pro gun news on twitter.

We wont link to the domain/url run by a Chicago IT Guy and self proclaimed progressive, Jay Rothschild, but a quick internet search(**1&2) pulls up multiple domains run by him like; GunDense.com, GunDense.net, GunDense.org, NRAKills.US, GunsGoneWild.US, RockAgainstGuns.net, Shakedown.US, FuckYouCongress.net, ForecloseCongress.com, EvictCongress.com.
