My rally is bigger than your rally.

Guess who’s not coming to the gun control rally?

Liberals, too lazy to show up, yet they tell us 90% of Americans want background checks. Sure, I’m not a math genius but I know those numbers are clearly wrong.

Authorize.net Pro-Gun Again.

A few months ago, Authorize.net, an online credit card processor and a subsidiary of VISA canceled the account of The Hyatt Gun Shop, one of the largest gun retailers in the US, for supposedly violating a no firearms policy held by the company.

Following that story, the NSSF reached out to Authorize.net and VISA and finally got a response.

According to an NSSF member email,

“….Our letter and their review resulted in their amending the Authorize.net policy to remove the offending provision. The executives stressed that they support all forms of legal transactions, including legal online firearms sales.”

Wonderful, it’s good when companies come to their senses. Perhaps the fact that Authorize.net was bought by another party had to do with it.

Gun control is just bad for business, and everyone else.

Barbara Walters Held Castro’s Gun in her lap.

What are your most memorable moments? Are their things you wouldn’t share with others? If you’re Barbara Walters, you’re pretty much an open book.

The December 23 edition of People magazine looks through old pictures with Barbara Walters as she “looks back on her most memorable moments” in five decades of television interviews.

During her 1977 interview with Fidel Castro “I spent 10 days with him, traveled through the mountains and held his gun in my lap,” she said. “People thought we had a romance, but we never did.” There was no romance with Ronald Reagan:

“This was where he got to be a cowboy,” she recalled, “but neither Nancy Reagan nor I loved it there. It was very cold, and he had the scroungiest Jeep.” Fans of “The Parent Trap” should now imagine Walters clicking together two sticks to ward off the lions.

Walters also had a memorable interview with Castro in 2002, when she uttered this memorable piece of idiocy: “For Castro, freedom starts with education. And if literacy alone were the yardstick, Cuba would rank as one of the freest nations on Earth. The literacy rate is 96 percent.” Castro tried to butter her up, as if she needed it: “You don’t look like 25 years have passed. You look exactly the same.”

Oh Barbara, you’re almost as bad as Jane Fonda.

Atlanta “Leaders” Organize a Gun Buyback.

The National Association of Unarmed Slaves is at it again.

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and faith leaders are joining the NAACP in a gun buyback initiative.

….

The NAACP chapter still needs to raise $100,000 for the program. It would allow gun owners to turn in weapons for gift cards.

Source: http://wabe.org/post/atlanta-leaders-organize-gun-buyback-inititiative-state-pols-look-ease-restrictions

So the people that live in the worst neighborhoods are going to get gift cards to buy crap they don’t need? How much is a life is worth? Because without a gun, good luck fighting off the Cribs and the Bloods.

…a bill seeking to loosen gun restrictions is expected to be high on the agenda. The bill, which didn’t pass last year but remains alive for 2014, seeks to expand gun-carry areas to churches, public buildings, and college campuses.

Mayor Reed said current dialogue at the state level is why it’s important to support local efforts like the NAACP’s buyback initiative. He said local officials have to pick their battles.

“I do not have the capability to stop the gun lobby at the Georgia General Assembly and I’m not going to put my energy there,” said Reed. “What I do is try to be constructive and to not give my energies to things I can’t change.”

He said at the local level that means continuing to build on his first term, during which time the city reported fewer murders than it has in a generation. Reed vowed to continue bolstering Atlanta’s police force and building out the city’s video surveillance system.

Atlanta must be a blue oasis in a sea of red. No wonder a guy like Reed gets elected better. Hey Reed, could the reason for less murders be more guns?

These idiots and their gun bans, have they forgotten the days the Klan used to show up at their doors and confiscate their guns? Is that what they need? A Klan parade with a bunch of people shouting “No Guns for Negroes?”

Who needs the Klan when you have KKKasim Reed doing their job. Hope you like wearing white, Kasim.

Google Glass in the Gun Range.

Gun-hating Gizmodo is scared, they write:

Shooting a gun with Google Glass looks frighteningly like a video game

Here’s what it looks like to fire a weapon. Oh? You’re not impressed? Right. I understand. Because every first person shooter video game that kids play these days looks exactly like this. Hell, to be honest, the video games might look even more realistic than real life (if that makes any sense).

YouTube user cheekflapperer took Google Glass to the gun range and showed it firing various weapons. It’s frightening (and totally unsurprising) how much it looks like a video game.

Poor Gizmodo, I guess those Call of Duty geeks get scared when shooting a real gun. Pathetic.

Why you need a holster.

Folks, if you can afford a gun, you can afford a holster, here’s why:

A Spartanburg man who approached an apartment complex pool with a gun tucked inside his boxer shorts pleaded guilty to a weapons offense.

Tyler Scott Hawkins, 22, of 110 Southport Road, Apt. 44, pleaded guilty Monday to unlawful carrying of a pistol and agreed to forfeit a handgun. The prosecution dismissed an indecent exposure charge as part of the plea negotiation.

Hawkins received a one-year sentence, suspended to 12 months of probation. Hawkins also was ordered to receive an evaluation to determine if he needs substance abuse treatment, among other requirements.

A woman told police in June that she saw Hawkins stagger into the pool area of Park Place Apartments wearing boxers, socks and a polo shirt. A gun was concealed inside Hawkins’ boxers, causing his genitals to be exposed, the Herald-Journal previously reported.

A charge of criminal domestic violence is pending against Hawkins.

Institute for Justice on the 14th Amendment.

The Institute for Justice is the libertarian version of the ACLU. Unlike that association started by a communist, they fight for real justice. They’re not the kind of people that would sue a baker because he doesn’t want to bake for a gay wedding.

I sent them a message on Facebook, asking what have they done for the Second Amendment? Here’s their reply:

“…one of our attorneys (Clark Neily) was co-council for the Heller gun case. He did it in his private capacity, though. We also talk about gun rights in our 14th Amendment documentary:”

The video starts talking guns at 5:42″, but the rest is very educational.

Free Concealed Carry in Ohio?

Two Republicans are proposing, here’s what anti-gunner Cecily Rus has to say about it.

The bill, which is the brainchild of Representatives Ron Hood of Ashville and Matt Lynch of Bainbridge Township, would allow anyone who is 21 years old and above to carry a concealed firearm as long as they are not legally prohibited from having a gun.

Absolutely no license would be required, though some existing stipulations, including bans on firearms in certain buildings, would be maintained.

As the law currently reads, Ohioans hoping to get a license to carry must undergo fingerprinting, as well as criminal and mental competency background checks. Applicants must also have firearms or peace officer training as proof of firearms competency.

In his argument for the proposed bill, Lynch said that, “the right in the Second Amendment is the only one in the Bill of Rights that you have to get permission for.”

Lynch also makes the childish-sounding argument that, “you don’t have to have a speech license or a worship license or a freedom of the press license. This is designed to put the Second Amendment on equal footing.” No fair.

That’s now a childish-sounding argument, it’s a PRINCIPLED argument. If Celily ever gets pregnant and I told her “instead of having an abortion, give your baby up for adoption,” I wonder what she would say of my argument?

Besides, the left doesn’t mind using children when it comes to promoting environmentalism, health care and the rest of their crap. Here we’re talking about adults, 21-year-olds for crying out loud.

NRA’s Handgunner Backpack.

You’re going to a public gun range were you can’t rent guns, how do you carry your weapons? You only have two hands. Well, here’s how:

So what exactly do I like about the NRA Handgunner Backpack? Nearly everything! It’s fairly lightweight and incredibly comfortable. The moisture-wicking padded shoulder straps and back-panel ensures a comfortable carry over virtually any distance. To date, I’ve carried my pack for hours on end in various circumstances (not just handgunning) with zero rubbing or hotspots and very little fatigue and after eight years in the Marines, I know what uncomfortable feels like! I imagine I could carry a fully-weighted NRA Handgunner Backpack for hours without much trouble.

55 of 62 CO Sheriffs reject new gun laws.

55 Colorado sheriffs are patriots, that is why they refuse to enforce the new gun laws — the requirement for universal background checks and the ban on ammunition magazines that hold more than 15 rounds.

These are the same 55 sheriffs who, in May, tried to challenge the constitutionality of the state laws in a federal court. U.S. District Judge Marcia Kreiger told the sheriffs that they don’t have standing — or legal authority — to challenge the laws as a group.

….

“If individual sheriffs wish to protect individual rights or interests, they may do so,” Ms. Krieger said, The Daily Mail reported. “However, the sheriffs have confused their individual rights and interests with those of the county sheriff’s office.”

Sorry Frau Krieger, but in America we don’t just follow orders and we reject “collective rights.” The law is wrong, you are wrong, good luck enforcing laws without law enforcement on your side.
