Yes, the Rascal is the type of gun that gives Moms Demand Action nightmares. “Look at those colors! They’re turning children into soldiers.” LOL

The reality is that a child taught how to use a gun can save your ass, here’s the proof:

PHOENIX (AP) – A 14-year-old boy shot and nearly killed an intruder who broke into his Phoenix home and pulled a gun on him while he was watching his three younger siblings, police said Saturday.

Here’s another one with video.

“Not only did this brave 15-year-old defend his home against 2 burglars, but also his 12-year-old sister who was in the house with him. He grabbed his father’s AR-15 and shot one of the burglars multiple times. They got away but had to go right to the hospital where the minor was arrested and the adult who was shot was flown to a different hospital”

Even unarmed New Yorkers can pick up a gun and shoot it:

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) – A 10-year-old boy fended off armed robbers inside his home in Canarsie, Brooklyn.

Two men carrying guns broke into a home on East 80th Street at about 5:15 p.m. on Monday and ordered two people to lay on the floor, according to the NYPD.

One of the gunmen entered a bedroom.  The boy slammed the door on him, knocking the gun out of the suspect’s hand.

The boy picked up the gun and fired one round. No one was hit.

One of the suspects fired another round but did not hit anyone, police said.

Both gunmen fled the scene and police are searching for the armed robbers.

One of the suspects is described as a black male wearing a Fed Ex style uniform.  The second suspect is described as a black male wearing a cap and a black shirt.

Police say they were looking to see if there was an surveillance video of the suspects.
