Cleared by whom? The newspaper? Nope, by the Advertising Standards Authority. You see, England unlike America doesn’t have freedom, if you advertise in the UK, you have to get the government thugs to approve your ad. In this case, the ad was approved because it ran at 9:50pm, you know, child-free time, because the kids that are playing Call of Duty can’t handle seeing a chimp with a gun. It’s for their protection, they say. Wussy-ass country, I say.
