Canadians turn to ArmsTrader after Facebook Gun Ban

armstraderca logoWhat do you do when you want to buy a gun from an individual and not a gun store? Where do you go when Facebook limits you? Canadians are turning to ArmsTrader.ca, the Armslist of Canada.

Facebook was the primary source of buying and selling used firearms for most Canadians, but recently many are getting banned from the site due to the new rules. ArmsTrader.ca boasts free registration, free postings, higher anonymity, better searching, and both a comment and private messaging system. If you’re a Canadian gun owner feeling the burn of the new Facebook ban, check out ArmsTrader.ca

The site is young so they don’t have a ton of guns yet, but they do have some nice hunting and sporting rifles, tactical black guns, and other weapons.

As for the legality, that’s up to the individuals traders. To me it’s no different than buying a gun from your neighbor, you have to know if the law allows you to do that.

If you’re Canadian, tell us if there’s any danger in buying a gun outside of a gun store in your country.
